Ingredients
- 1/2 painter Zobo leaves
- 1 tablespoon ground Cloves
- 1 Cucumber
- 2 Oranges
- 1 large Pineapple
- 2 large thumb-size Ginger
- Sweetener of choice
Direction
- Pour water on a fresh bowl, then put the zobo on it – use your hand to mash it to ensure the water covers it, then bring it out immediately.
- Wash the pineapple very well, and peel off the back and keep aside. Then cut the pineapple into large chunks and keep aside too.
- Wash the cucumber and slice into small pieces.
- Wash the ginger and slice it (you can remove the back if you want)
- Wash the oranges well and cut it into 4 and remove the back and the seeds.
- Put the zobo leaves in a fresh pot, pour in the pineapple peel, the main pineapple, the cucumber, the oranges, the ginger and the cloves.
- Add enough water to cover the entire surface.
- Turn everything together, and cover the pot to heat In a low heat for 25-30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, carry it down and bring out the pineapple chunks, oranges, and ginger – then, place them in a blender and blend till liquid.
- Now when the zobo has could down, sieve it out on a fresh container.
- Use a neat clothe to sieve out the blended mixture into the same bowl you poured the zobo (squeeze tight to extract all the juice on it)

Ingredients
- 2 cups of Zobo Leaves
- 1 bunch Fresh Lemon Grass
- 1 gallon – Water
- Peels from 2 Ripe Sweet Pineapples
- 1/4 of 1 Ripe sweet Pineapple
- 1 Lemon (or to your taste)
- 2 Inch Ginger root ( or to your taste)
- 5 small size Tumeric (or to your taste)
- 2 sticks of Cinnamon ( or to your taste)
- 3 Feet of Sugar Cane (optional )
- Sugar or Honey to your Taste
Direction
- Cut fresh lemon grass, and wash very well
- Pour water on a fresh bowl, then put the zobo on it – use your hand to mash it to ensure the water covers it, then bring it out immediately. (to remove dirts)
- Wash the pineapple very well, and peel off the back and keep aside. Also wash and cut the other ingredients neatly.
- Put water on the pot, then put the Pineapple peels inside, fold the lemon grass very well and add into the pot.
- Add the other ingredients into the pot (Ginger, Turmeric, & Cinnamon Sticks)
- Pour in the Zobo leave, with the lemon (sliced into half), then fresh cut Pineapple
- [Optional] Then, add chopped organic sugar can sticks
- Pour enough water and ensure all ingredients are properly covered with water
- Place the pot on fire and heat for about 20 minutes
- Turn off the fire and leave inside the pot to simmer for extra 20 minutes.
- Gradually take out the lemon grass, the Pineapple peels, and other solid ingredients.
- Then sieve out the Zobo drink into a fresh container.
- You can store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
