Direction

  1. First, soak the zobo leave on a clean water and bring it out immediately (To clean any dirt or dust.)

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 painter Zobo leaves
  2. 1 tablespoon ground Cloves
  3. 1 Cucumber
  4. 2 Oranges
  5. 1 large Pineapple
  6. 2 large thumb-size Ginger
  7. Sweetener of choice

Direction

  1. Pour water on a fresh bowl, then put the zobo on it – use your hand to mash it to ensure the water covers it, then bring it out immediately.
  2. Wash the pineapple very well, and peel off the back and keep aside. Then cut the pineapple into large chunks and keep aside too.
  3. Wash the cucumber and slice into small pieces.
  4. Wash the ginger and slice it (you can remove the back if you want)
  5. Wash the oranges well and cut it into 4 and remove the back and the seeds.
  6. Put the zobo leaves in a fresh pot, pour in the pineapple peel, the main pineapple, the cucumber, the oranges, the ginger and the cloves.
  7. Add enough water to cover the entire surface.
  8. Turn everything together, and cover the pot to heat In a low heat for 25-30 minutes.
  9. After 30 minutes, carry it down and bring out the pineapple chunks, oranges, and ginger – then, place them in a blender and blend till liquid.
  10. Now when the zobo has could down, sieve it out on a fresh container.
  11. Use a neat clothe to sieve out the blended mixture into the same bowl you poured the zobo (squeeze tight to extract all the juice on it)
  12. Then, add some fresh fruit juice (oranges) or sachet juice flavour (orange & pineapple.

  1. 2 cups of Zobo Leaves
  2. 1 bunch Fresh Lemon Grass
  3. 1 gallon – Water
  4. Peels from 2 Ripe Sweet Pineapples
  5. 1/4 of 1 Ripe sweet Pineapple
  6. 1 Lemon (or to your taste)
  7. 2 Inch Ginger root ( or to your taste)
  8. 5 small size Tumeric (or to your taste)
  9. 2 sticks of Cinnamon ( or to your taste)
  10. 3 Feet of Sugar Cane (optional )
  11. Sugar or Honey to your Taste

Direction

  1. Cut fresh lemon grass, and wash very well
  2. Pour water on a fresh bowl, then put the zobo on it – use your hand to mash it to ensure the water covers it, then bring it out immediately. (to remove dirts)
  3. Wash the pineapple very well, and peel off the back and keep aside. Also wash and cut the other ingredients neatly.
  4. Put water on the pot, then put the Pineapple peels inside, fold the lemon grass very well and add into the pot.
  5. Add the other ingredients into the pot (Ginger, Turmeric, & Cinnamon Sticks)
  6. Pour in the Zobo leave, with the lemon (sliced into half), then fresh cut Pineapple
  7. [Optional] Then, add chopped organic sugar can sticks
  8. Pour enough water and ensure all ingredients are properly covered with water
  9. Place the pot on fire and heat for about 20 minutes
  10. Turn off the fire and leave inside the pot to simmer for extra 20 minutes.
  11. Gradually take out the lemon grass, the Pineapple peels, and other solid ingredients.
  12. Then sieve out the Zobo drink into a fresh container.
  13. You can store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
  14. Serve hot or cold – depending on your preference.
